SERIES/ SERIALS:
Our subsidiary companies produce a considerable part of the top crime series on German television. With the classic „Ein Fall für zwei” (A Case for Two) we are constantly in the top rank, in number of viewers, since 1981. To our long-standing guarantee of success, belong serials like „Der Landarzt“ (The Country Doctor) or „Der Staatsanwalt“ (The Prosecutor).
For innovative formats like „KDD – Kriminaldauerdienst” (KDD) and „Türkisch für Anfänger” (Turkish for Beginners) we have received multiple national and international renowned awards. Since 2006 we have produced the successful crime-serial „Der Kriminalist“ (The Detective) starring Christian Berkel. In 2008 the new series „Die Stein” (Katja Stein) went into production. Currently, its second season is being broadcasted by ARD.
TV-MOVIES:
In 1968 we had our first experience in TV-movie production. Since then, more than 170 TV-movies have been produced.
Our most recent television films include „Papa allein zu Haus” with Götz George and „Die Stunde des Wolfes” with Jürgen Vogel. Above all, we produced the latest version of „Tatort” with the title „Nie wieder frei sein” (Never Again Free) which has won multiple awards, such as the Grimme-Preis, the Bayerischer Fernsehpreis and the Deutscher FernsehKrimi-Preis. Currently, our subsidiary companies are working on „Kommissar Kluftinger. Milchgeld", „Lotta & die großen Erwartungen", „Liebe mit Nebenwirkungen" and the "Spreewald" Thriller „Die Rückkehr des Schlangekönigs".
Documentaries and comedies are also part of our repertoire, such as SHOWS and SPECIALS.
